Star Trek: Enterprise Season 1 arrives on DVD on May 3, 2005, courtesy of Paramount Home Entertainment. The DVD release dates for the subsequent seasons are Season 2 on July 12, Season 3 on September 6, and Season 4 on November 1. All 25 episodes from the first season are included in the 7-disc set. The series will be presented in anamorphic widescreen (enhanced for 16:9 TVs) with Dolby Digital 5.1 English and Dolby Digital 2.0 surround English. English subtitles and English closed captions (for the hearing impaired) support the audio. The set will have a suggested retail price of $100.00.
Special features include audio commentary on the pilot episode "Broken Bow" with creators Brannon Braga and Rick Berman, and text commentaries on "Broken Bow", "The Andorian Incident" and "Vox Sola" by Michael Okuda and Denise Okuda. Numerous featurettes can be found on the set ("Creating Enterprise," "O Captain! My Captain! A Profile of Scott Bakula," "Cast Impressions: Season One," "Inside Shuttlepod One," "Star Trek Time Travel: Temporal Cold Wars and Beyond," "Enterprise Secrets," and "Admiral Forrest Takes Center Stage"). Deleted scenes and outtakes round out the package.
