Microsoft's 2001 antitrust settlement with the Bush administration has not reduced the dominance of the company's Windows personal computer operating system, a U.S. Justice Department lawyer said Wednesday. . | Silly me, I didn't realize the case was meant to break Microsoft's domination. I thought it was pretty clear the case was really about lining lawyer pockets. |

The wasn't about breaking Microsoft dominance. That is not what anti-trust is for.
It is to give a bigger advantage the competition of company under fire. |
