Thanks jdhawk....IBM, which ushered in the personal-computer era that fueled the rise of technology giants Intel and Microsoft, reportedly is in talks to sell off what remains of its PC business. Such a sale could provide a temporary boom in business for rivals such as Hewlett-Packard and Dell as they swoop in to snare confused IBM customers. On Friday, the New York Times reported that Big Blue is in talks with Lenovo, China's largest personal-computer maker, and one other party, to sell its PC business for $1 billion to $2 billion.
