Grand Theft Auto and Halo 2 on list of 'inappropriate' Xmas gifts for kids
Fears that parents and grandparents may unwittingly buy violent or sexually explicit computer games for youths this Christmas have prompted a coalition of US pressure groups to compile a warning list of the world's most violent games. Groups led by the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility have today warned parents and grandparents to be careful when purchasing what it deems to be the 10 most violent video games. | ||

monkey. how old are your kids?
mine have been playing fps games since about age 12. if i didn't buy these games for them they would be over their friends house playing them (they do even so). i still draw the line on M rated games however, and i wish that the game consoles came with an option to disable the blood and guts features. |

Exactly right! There's nothing wrong with violent and/or sexually explicit video games or movies or anything else. It should be up to the parents to decide what their children can play/watch/etc. I say should because it's obvious that a lot of parents are happy enough as long as their children are quiet - regardless of what they are playing/watching/etc. |
