This is standard at most large companies(The deletion of emails not the deletion of court requested emails). Where I work Lotus Notes does it after 40 days.

Gentlemen, consider the SOURCE. This isn't a NEWS article. This is a quote from the lawyer of a company that is suing MSFT. Sounds to me like burst.com is having difficulty making their case, so they are starting to make excuses. Why else would the lawyer speak PUBLICLY about this? Exactly, they don't have a ton of confidence in their case.

LOL wow.. that just explains it all Parkker. Thanks for the laugh. I keep ALL my emails except spam and never have a problem finding what I need. You might want to work on your organizational skills!
