A MEMO signed by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has piled into the Linux operating system, claiming that users adopting it will be vulnerable to security breaches. And he hit out at the way open source advocates worked on the Linux OS, which he claimed suffered from a lack of structured software development. | ||

Steve Ballmer also said that Linux doesn't scale very well.

1. I don't know how Ballmer can say these things with a straight face. Does he not realize that there might be all of 3 people on the planet who believe him?
2. I don't know why the reporters covering this aren't laughing in his face and rolling in the aisles. 3. Based on years of MS spin, I pretty much believe the exact opposite of whatever comes out of Ballmer's/Gates' mouth. |

SuSE Linux (SLES9) is also outperforming Windows 2003.
