| This tool simply does not work worth a flip. I've installed every patch from MS04-028 via Windows Update, Office Update AND each individual patch, but this tool still says I'm vulnerable. I've even checked the binaries and they are the correct versions noted in the bulletin. Even on XP, 2000, and 2003 boxes, same failure over and over again. Additionally, the web page it goes to is an 'end-user' page that tells me nothing more than do what I've already done and gives NO details as to why it is failing and what component is still not patched. Junk! |
