The programs that are listed in this article may experience issues after you upgrade to Windows XP SP2. You may not notice some of these issues. Additionally, software vendors may have resolved some of these issues. Contact the software manufacturer or vendor for more specific details. You can also search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for specific issues that are related to your program and for the effects of the increased security features that are offered in Windows XP SP2. | So here is the list of 'poorly written apps'. Many current products from one company, not to bash them, as I am a big support, but they should have done a little more work. I beta tested, and found differing results on the service packs, including the disabling of Windows Update, no matter what you did, MS Office application refusing to run, and current favorite, Word error when closing Ouotlook, hit OK or Help. Over all good job, not great, but could have been better. |
