Microsoft said on Monday it was aiming to make search services--a hot technology right now with the impending public offering of Google--customized for users so that results would be based on individual preferences and interests. | This sounds like more of the same old marketing machine. I don't care about "personalized searches", whatever that really means to Billy G. I'll stick with Google, thank you very much. |

| You know what for as good as google is I don't see the mass market being loyal to them. If someone comes out with a better search engine I will switch in a heart beat. I think most people are the same way. Search engines are free right now. I would even pay for a really good search engine. I am a little discouraged about google going public. I don't think they can continue their "Do no evil" mantra when the money starts flowing in. I think they are already being a little shady with their AdWords stuff... Can only go downhill from here. |
