You know its love when she repairs her own smashed-in bumper. Leading off Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment's September 28th lineup of new catalog releases, it's a new special edition of the mother of all cinematic car wrecks, John Carpenter's Christine. While not a huge box office hit on first release in 1983, the flick has developed a small cult following over the years, which will likely thrill to a host of new extras: audio commentary by Carpenter and star Keith Gordon, three new featurettes by documentarian Laurent Bouzereau, no less than 20 deleted scenes, filmographies and bonus trailers. Presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 2.0 surround, retail will list for $24.95.
