First Look: Gun Metal

"With the last of your outer defenses breached and the enemy moving ever onward, destroying all that lies in its path, only one hope remains. Standing ten meters tall and equipped with an arsenal of devastating weaponry, a battle machine that can transform into a highly maneuverable jet fighter is your only hope of turning the tide of war. Welcome to Gun Metal."

Rage software is using the above description for their new Xbox title, Gun Metal, the latest entry in the widely popular mech-combat genre. Is it gorgeous to look at? Oh yes. Can you use an elaborate selection of gigantic weaponry? Definitely. Will the game have a solid and interesting storyline to go with the amazing graphics? Umm... we'll have to wait and see. Some details on the title's gameplay, story, and presentation are a bit sketchy at present. What we do know, however, is that Rage software has promised to deliver a title that takes full advantage of the Xbox's attributes, in more ways than just pure eye-candy.
