Microsoft to Team Up with iFrance | |

Microsoft and iFrance have signed a technological & marketing partnership agreement, in order to offer french web surfers new interactive multimedia services. This partnership lets iFrance offer to its 650 000 members new multimedia applications based on Microsoft technologies. Microsoft will also bring a technical & marketing support to iFrance. iFrance is a French portal that provide free tools to surf, communicate, share information and get organized (email, shared diary, personal website, forums, etc.) iFrance is a company from the VIVENDI UNIVERSAL group. As part of this agreement, Microsoft & iFrance work closer to setup a free accommodation platform to host members’ streaming videos using all the new innovating features of Windows Media. This new services will be promoted through the Microsoft France website, via emails, and the Windows Media Guide. | ||
