Microsoft's Korean offices raided | |

Microsoft on Friday confirmed Korean Fair Trade Commission officials visited the company's South Korean offices to collect information. The Korean officials collected information from the software giant's offices on Thursday and are currently investigating the bundling of Microsoft's instant messaging software with its Windows operating system. "Microsoft has been and will continue to cooperate fully with the KFTC as it carries out its inquiry," the company said in a statement. | ||

| For the South Korea haters here; South Korea learnt from the Asian economic crisis and now has a robust anti-competitive legislation; as for any assertion that this is an "anti-US raid", nothing can be further from the truth considering the latest round of enforcement of the anti-competitive legislation in relation to price fixing and other forms of market manipulation. |

| Man, if they raided them for the instant messaging software, just imagine what they'll do because of the bundled Windows Media Player! |
