Apple today announced that Fred D. Anderson, Apple’s former executive vice president and CFO, has been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors. Anderson retired on June 1 and was succeeded by Peter Oppenheimer as chief financial officer. | ||

Please, don't post retarded crap just to win a foolish contest.
Fred is considered one of the best CFOs in the tech industry (even with some poor quarters, even with the claim that Apple can never meet a promise, he has met or exceeded financial projections for about 4 years straight every quarter). He recently announced his retirement from that position. It's pretty natural to give him a spot on the board at this point. Ellison left a while ago. Since his departure, Millard Drexler (J. Crew), Al Gore (former Vice Pres), and Jerry York (Harwinton Capital) have been added to the Board... so, no, he does not replace Ellison. |

What's retarded about that is they've added 3 board members since he left, moron. Don't you know how to read? Besides, you clearly don't understand Apple's governance. The Board grows and shrinks. They have no need to replace one head for another head. But, yes, it's retarded to claim Fred replaces Larry when Millar, Al, and Jerry have joined the Board in the interim, wouldn't you think?
