Argue all you want that doesn't change the fact that Apple products are vastly overpriced for what you get.
If Apple were to fall in line with their pricing model there would be cheaper Macs on the market, a higher number of Mac users, and a lot more sales for Apple.
They're keeping their prices artificially inflated for a purpose. A stupid purpose, but it's intentional. Far be it from me to point fingers as to why they're doing it....
As for Job's salary, that's a freakin' joke. That sort of thing shouldn't be even allowed. $1 per year is in violation of the federal minimum wage laws. He should be taking home at least $10000 a year as a base salary, assuming 40 hr weeks, 52 weeks a year at minimum wage. The bonuses based on Apple performance notwithstanding.
