Microsoft campus going up in heart of high-tech India | |

In a sign of Microsoft's ambitious plans for India, the company is building a huge campus complete with a cricket field on the outskirts of this high-tech boomtown. About 600 engineers and administrative staff are expected to be based at the campus. Although Microsoft has steadily expanded its product group in India since 1998 in rented space, the campus signifies it plans to be here permanently and that it may expand dramatically in the future. | ||

| Great, I have about one issue a year that I generally need to call MS Tech Support on, having to ask the tech support person to repeat themselves just so I can understand what they are trying to say (because english is there second language) isnt what I call good tech support. I had a person tell me that I needed to install Windows XP Service Pack 2 and they belived that would fix the problem. When I told him it was still in testing and wasnt released yet he said that he wasnt a specialist for Windows and would need to pass me on to someone else. One thing I hate worse is knowing more about the product then the person I am calling to help support it. |
