NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Shares of JDA Software (JDAS) rose to $15.58 on the Island ECN after closing at $14.76 on Friday following news that the company agreed to a multi-year strategic alliance with Microsoft (MSFT) . The arrangement expands the existing relationship between the companies, accelerating the development, marketing and sales of JDA's Portfolio retailing software suite based on the Microsoft platform, and .NET technologies. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The companies will jointly promote the product.
