Microsoft Research Cambridge has formed a new group. The Integrated Systems group will focus on new and innovative methods to help make our computers more intuitive, interactive, and appealing. This might include novel ways of inputting data, using mobile communication, or wearing computers that help us remember the names of the people we just met.
The Interactive Systems group will leverage the already strong lead that mobile communications has in the EMEA. The resources they can access through partnerships with researchers throughout the EMEA will help them find ways to support cultural diversity. In addition, partnerships with product groups throughout Microsoft will influence people across the world as their research is integrated into future products.
