Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Patch To Remove WTC Towers | |

I've just received from Microsoft France the montly games newsletter announcing the availability of a patch for Flight Simulator 2000 to remove the twin towers. Microsoft is saddened by the horrible tragedy that occurred on September 11th. Our hearts go out to everyone involved in and affected by this terrible tragedy. We are focused on doing the right thing out of respect for the victims, our customers, partners and employees. To that end, we have created a patch that will remove the World Trade Center towers from Flight Simulator 2000. Once downloaded, this update will place a file in scenedb/cities/newyork/scenery that reflects the changes. | ||

| Why is there a big deal about whether the WTC is in the game or not? The obvious reason Microsoft released the patch is because now the Flight Simulator 2000 game is historically inaccurate. By installing the patch, you're now just updating the landmarks to the rpesent day. No big deal at all. |

| Don't be so pathetic #23, why would they put the WTC back in when it's not there? What a stupid dumbass comment. If you want the WTC, go and get Flight Sim 2000. |
