I never thought I'd say this, but for the first time I think Microsoft might have a chance.
Google has gone bad. The "Background Noise" in search results makes it difficult to find truly relating hits to your querries these days.
One of the worst things to search for, and this isn't necessarily a Google problem, is reviews. Half of the time, there are dozens of hits for the SAME review, at different sites. I still haven't figured out what's going on with that. Are sites after sites stealing reviews from other sites and posting them on their own site? You can see the same review written by the same exact person at the same exact time using the same exact words posted at dozens of non-affiliated sites. Weird...
I still love Google, but they have to ease up on the advertiser 'implants'. The background noise has gotten so high it's getting close to the point of not being worth it to use Google.
And if Google ever goes public, it will only get worse. At that point they will have to satisfy shareholders, and you thing the implanted advertisements are bad now?
