European Union regulators have rejected as insufficient Microsoft's latest offer to settle long-running antitrust charges but are continuing talks, sources said Tuesday. With a verdict due this spring, the U.S. software giant has been scrambling to avert what could be a far-reaching order to change the way it packages its dominant Windows desktop operation system and reveal more of its underlying code to rival manufacturers. | ||

kabuki... dont you realize that France only had a problem with US involvement because they sell a ton of stuff to Iraq. They were only looking out for SELF. HexJam - I can see your point. I can speak for myself only, but I have to admit its a little frustrating to continually bail out the world (with our LIVES) and get kicked in the groin by the people you're saving. |

#5 You don't realise that France had an issue with US involvement for exactly the same reason why a lot of the world had an issue with US involvement - they just didn't believe the crap being spewed out by the US Administration. WMD first, links to Al Quada next and finally settling on from for the Iraqi people - what a joke! Even a large population of the US had this very same issue!

France *could* be training and giving weapons to the biggest terrorists in the world and they still wouldn't be doing anything that the US hasn't done! "They were only looking out for SELF." So was the US of A I hate to tell you! Let's not be too much of a hypocrite now! HexJam is right on the money here, the attitude of some Americans is exactly that - either do as we say or you're automatically branded as anti-American! The positive aspect of all of this is that this attitude isn't shared by all Americans! |
