Industry watcher Rob Enderle no longer responds to angry e-mails from Linux supporters. The principal analyst for the Enderle Group says he replied to the first thousand or so. But after that, the anger and profanities that many of the missives contained began to wear on him. "I've been threatened and other analysts have been threatened, as well," Enderle said. "Some of the e-mail is incredibly vile, and it just doesn't seem worth it to respond anymore. The senders view a response as a license to write again, in even greater detail." | ||

"Mac users are nuttier than a fruitcake," Andy said. "People have an unnatural emotional attachment to object(s) like computers. For some, their reaction was akin to me butchering their parents or a beloved pet."
Andy said some of the mail commented on his troubled psyche and warned of future mental problems. But "the majority of people just cussed me and said I was insane." lol |

| #1 What's the beef? Looks like a perfectly good way to get the most use out of G5 I've heard of yet. At the rate they are selling, my only misgiving is that they might become valuable to a museum archivist like their erstwhile predecessor, the McIntoss Cube (Hey! Hurry! Get the fire extinguisher out - its on fire again)! lol |

Wow, and to think I got crap last year for pointing out Linux extremists could very well be categorized as terrorists if they didn't start being careful with their rhetoric.
I knew there had been threats, but I didn't realize it had escalated to death threats. |
