It will be too late for the first buyers but Microsoft's Smart Display technology will get an important upgrade later this year. An update of Microsoft's Smart Display technology will address shortcomings in the initial version, which Bill Gates is due to launch late on Wednesday during his keynote speech at the CES show in Las Vegas. | ||

| yeah, I was going to make the same comment..why would he address this upgrade in his keynote when the public knows they're dropping it...pretty strange...even tho I always figured it wouldn't do that well at the prices they wanted. When Mira first was coming out they said it would be placed in cheap hardware devices..since it basically is just using remote dektop from your main pc...devices shouldn't be anymore than $100 if even that much...but the Viewsonic ones for example were over $1000..pretty ridicules. |
