Lured by top brands, superior selection and convenient shopping tools, a record number of consumers in the United States ushered in the holiday shopping season on MSN® Shopping last month. In November 2003, MSN Shopping saw a 50 percent increase in consumer spending and site traffic compared with the same period last year. Although these increases were evident across all categories, in particular shoppers have been snapping up hot items in the home electronics and apparel categories.
