Sometimes I suspect Bill Gates doesn't sleep so well at night. Not out of any guilt over his billions or the alleged mediocrity of his product. No, I wonder whether he might actually worry about the competition. Not Apple (though that iPod MP3 player is a killer toy, and I'm cheerfully typing these words on an Apple (AAPL ) PowerBook G4). No, I'll bet Linux and its creator, Linus Torvalds, cross Gates's mind when he's looking up at the ceiling late at night. | ||

Personally I don't think that BillG is sitting up at night worrying about Linux.
I think to get him to do that, Linux developers/evangelists will have to start building Linux for the common user rather than the Computer Geek (and forced corporate worker). That will be the time when Bill starts to freak out. Until then its just a hobbiest platform/ server plateform to him. Their (MS) bread and butter is your Mom. (hehe that sounds funny) |

| Read the terms - swearing in any form - be it fully or cutting out letters from a swearword is no longer allowed in comments. As for censoring those who are putting their views across like Rambo did - if we did that, there would be almost no comments from anyone here. You all have personal views - its how they are put across that matters. |

You've not provided one shred of substantiating fact or anything close to detail to validate your opinion. Just saying "I think Linux is great" on a Windows news site, is pretty dang troll to me.
If you think OSNews is unbiased or close to balanced, you don't know what unbiased or balanced mean. |
