Anyway, in the article you referenced it says, "Last week, Symbian said shipments of smart phones loaded with its software rose tenfold during the first six months of this year, compared with the same period last year."
I don't recall it saying anything about Microsoft's Windows Mobile gaining.
Also, Motorola said there wanted to be OS neutral and focus on Java. How does that equate to a win for Microsoft?
In future, it'd probably be wise to choose better articles to support your view.
