Symantec has recently launched its new collection of utilities, branded 2002, that feature full support of Windows XP. Norton AntiVirus, Norton CleanSweep, Norton Ghost, Norton Internet Security, Norton SystemWorks, Norton Utilities 2002 have been natively designed to perfectly support Windows XP. However WinFax Pro 10 and pcAnywhere 10 don't support yet the upcoming new operating system from Redmond. Symantec has already released a free patch for WinFax Pro and WinFax Pro Basic that'll update your faxing software to version 10.02. This updated version not only adds support for Windows XP but also fixes a wide variety of bugs as well as supporting Office XP and Outlook 2002. Concerning pcAnywhere, Symantec doesn't recommend pcAnywhere 10 to be used with Windows XP since the software hasn't been designed to work with it. Symantec has already stated they won't release a free update but plan to unveil in November pcAnywhere 10.50. This new version will obviously support Windows XP and a cheap upgrade price will be offered to existing pcAnywhere 10 users.
