Outlook Express "will" be improved, says Microsoft | |

Microsoft has now said it is not planning to stop development on the world's most popular email client, Outlook Express, after all. Product manager Dan Leach told the press earlier this week that no new work was being done on the product, and all efforts were going to be concentrated on MSN and Hotmail. Leach now claims that Microsoft had already changed its plans for Outlook Express before his comments were published, but the changes had not been communicated to him. | ||

| You can access newsgroup cache in Outlook if you are running Exchange Server. |

simple.. because if it had it you would not need an exchange server to access newsgroups.
Frankly it just was not part of the original design.. then they added to OE, shipped it as part of the OS\IE and figured screw it.. it's up to the office team if they feel like adding support; which obviously the officeteam has not considered a priority, which really means not alot of companies have complained. |
