Thanks Bruce! OneStat.com ( http://www.onestat.com ), the number one provider of real-time web analytics, today reported that Microsoft's IE6 global usage share continues to rise. Internet Explorer 6 has shown a fast adoptation rate with a global usage share of 66.3 percent. Microsoft's Internet Explorer has a total global usage share of 95.4 percent. Microsoft's Internet Explorer continues to dominate the global browser market. Netscape's total global usage share has decreased 0.4 percent the last 2 months. Netscape's total global usage share is 2.5 percent at the moment. | ||

How can I say this...
MSIE 6 SUCKS! The best version of MSIE released was 5.01. It's been buggy bloatware since 5.5 was released, and 6 just made things worse. I'd love to have a 5.01 installer that would work under XP. And I don't believe the numbers, either. They don't break down those who are masquerading as IE 6 for compatibility reasons, which makes the numbers meaningless. TL |

MyIE = bloatware... full of useless crap sprawled all over the place... not to mention it's a PITA to uninstall... all in all, nothing more than a pile of cow dung... the writers of the app need to be trained in how to make a useful UI.
IE is anything but bloatware. It's a fairly light-weight browser, as far as external features are concerned, with, in my opinion, by far the best rendering engine, and a simple UI. |
