The Microsoft Office 2000 & Later Web Archive add-on allows you to save a Web page as a single file, including all of the graphics on the page, by using the MIME HTML Internet standard. This is especially useful if you save your Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office XP, or Microsoft Office 2003 documents as Web pages, since most of the Microsoft Office programs save Web pages as multiple files. Packing your Microsoft Office documents with the Web Archive add-on helps to avoid errors if you try to send the Web page to someone else. By using Web Archive, you can easily send the Web page as one file via e-mail or save the Web page for offline viewing. You can also unpack a Web Archive if you need to restore an archive to its original state. | ||

| Really, this isn't that new. IE 6 has it. FILE > SAVE AS > Web Archive, Single File (*.mht) |

| The big new feature is unpacking mht files. Before this, the only Win32 utility available for doing so was Chilkat MHT. |
