A new server software bundle, code-named Jupiter, will enter customer testing before the end of June, according to company representatives. The bundle, which includes some of the company's server products for building custom business applications, is the cornerstone to Microsoft's ambitious plans to increase its share of the fast-growing market for integration software. Microsoft's strategy binds together at least three of its server applications into a single bundle. Jupiter includes BizTalk Server integration software, Content Management Server for storing and presenting business documents, and Commerce Server for building e-commerce Web sites.

| Microsoft plans Jupiter landing, right. Everytime I read that title my heart jumps thinking that Microsoft is getting involved in the space program. But no, it turns out to be another misleading title. "Microsoft plans to release Jupiter Computer program" would have been more accurate. Our poor space program was put on hold first by Reagan, and now by the shuttle tragedy that could have been averted if they had built a hanger for the shuttle in the space station, and then they could have brought it in for examination to determine the damage that was done to it during liftoff and possibly to effect repairs and/or send a new shuttle up to retrieve the crew. |
