Arima® Group Inc. today announced RioWorks™ HDAMA motherboard and barebones system products for the AMD® Opteron™ processors as the latest in a series of RioWorks server products.
HDAMA is a 64-bit/32-bit operating system compatible motherboard based on the AMD Opteron processor architecture. AMD Opteron processors can reduce I/O bottlenecks, increase system bandwidth and reduce memory latency with design innovations including 1) highly scalable system bus using HyperTransport™ technology and 2) A high-bandwidth, high-performance integrated memory controller. HDAMA features four registered DDR333 memory DIMMs per CPU with total 8 DIMM slots on board.
