Microsoft Corp., bowing to federal government demands, will make it easier for computer users to substitute rival Web browsers for the company's Internet Explorer, people familiar with the matter said. The revisions address charges by competitors that the world's largest software maker was flouting an antitrust settlement by continuing to make it difficult for consumers to use non-Microsoft applications, the people said. | ||

| True, true. The only prob I have enoutered along those lines is on WinXP Pro, Install Office XP Professional, Install Netscape Communicator 4.8, set default Email program to Netscape mail. Go to a web page with a mailto: link on it, click da link.... Word launches as default mail editor instead of Netscape. Never figured that one out. :( |

Do you go into Set Programs and Access in the Add/Remove Programs part of the control panel?
