Microsoft Corp. expects "huge" gains in installing computing devices inside cars in the next few years, Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said yesterday. "Five or six years from now, we think 100 percent of the cars will have some sort of telematics device, and we want to have at least a piece of all of that," Ballmer said in an interview after a speech at a Microsoft automotive conference in Dearborn, Mich. | ||

| Techlarry, who is the manufacturer of the radio in your car? And I hope that you think that they car manufacturer made it. What do you care who the manufacturer is if it meets your needs? Same goes for telematics. |

I can see you saying "no, I don't want computing in my car!" But to say, "no, I don't want Microsoft in my car!" is just flat out stupid. I doubt you would say a word if some other company made the software. |
