Switch to OS X? I doubt it. I wouldn't own a Mac unless someone gave me one. :o)
No, Mandrake Linux has a much better chance of competing with Windows than any other OS. And yet, it still lacks 1. Install programs for new drivers (User just clicks on driver program and it installs) 2. Install programs for updated programs (same as above) 3. Root-less version for home users ( No file sharing or printer sharing going on ) 4. Upgrade path that doesn't require being a geek to tweak the kernel |

| matgarnz... but WHY should someone move to Linux as their desktop OS. WHY? Easier to pick apart another's statements than to put up a good set of ADVANTAGES of Linux on the desktop. |
