Prepare to unlock a universe of possibilities as "Freelancer (TM) ," the latest PC game from Microsoft Corp., lands on store shelves today. With "Freelancer," players can embark on an epic space adventure that puts them in the space pilot's seat as never before. "Freelancer," developed by Digital Anvil and Microsoft Game Studios, enables gamers to experience the adrenaline rush of fast-action combat with the engrossing story of a dynamic living universe. Players assume the identities of a variety of characters -- from crafty traders and naval officers to galactic explorers and bounty hunters -- and those identities determine which allies and enemies players will encounter in the game. | ||

Stories like these piss me off! I am was an early Xbox adopter, I paid $450 for my Xbox when it first came out. By now I thought that I would have more game choice. When I read about these great PC games I keep asking where is the Xbox version or why not release it on Xbox exclusively. To be fair there are only 5 good games on the Xbox and about 10 decent games, the rest are just crap.
1. Halo (online at XboxConnect.com) 2. Splinter Cell 3. Ghost Recon 4. Panzer 5. Doa Beach Volleyball, but only for the volleyball game play :) But seriously we need more games and now. And make them all Xbox live enabled. This game sounds sweet, why isn't it on the Xbox? and Unreal sucks when compared to Halo This post was edited by RedHook on Tuesday, March 04, 2003 at 12:16. |

| I can see it happening with the next Digital Anvil release - but this has been over 4 years in the making and then it had to be cut down just so it could get out this year. I hope a title like this does come out on the Xbox, with improved graphics and sounds. But it won't be happening any time soon, the closest we'll get it Yager. |

Waaaahhh.... :) Some of us spend $450 just on our VIDEO CARD to run the best games on the PC so we DESERVE the best games :) TL |
