Microsoft dangles XP rebate carrot

Microsoft Australia has launched a multi-million dollar channel program offering a 10 percent rebate to channel partners in an effort to pump up Windows XP and Office XP sales. Under its �Partner XP Desktop Campaign� Microsoft has promised to give any Microsoft reseller the cash rebate if they increase XP sales by 15 percent between March and June compared to the same period last year.
