Thank you to reader Mark for bringing this to our attention: "I haven't been able to sign in to Windows Messenger since about 11:30 AM EST. My girlfriend hasn't been able to sign in since 8:30 AM EST, and as of 9:55 AM PST the Service Status page is showing the .NET Messenger Service as "Temporarily unavailable"." Others are having this problem as well. As of 1:45 EST, the status page is unavailable as well. | ||

Hmm, I can't even run messenger. But then that's because our draconian admins started pushing out "AllowMessengerToRun=0" in the policies. :(
