Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) and Microsoft Corp. today announced the finalists for the MS-HUG annual awards, which recognize the most innovative healthcare solutions using Microsoft® technologies within the healthcare industry. MS-HUG holds the annual Industry Solutions Awards for Healthcare (ISAH) event to recognize independent software vendors (ISVs) that utilize Microsoft technology to provide significant business benefits to healthcare organizations. In 2001, Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Physician of the Year Award to recognize the physician demonstrating the best use of Microsoft-based products and tools in his or her practice. This year, Microsoft expanded the awards program to recognize additional key constituencies, including hospitals, clinics, health plans and pharmaceutical companies. | ||
