Microsoft Corp.'s Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) on Tuesday announced the Search for Ms. M.o.X.i.e. (Microsoft Office v. X Integrated Experience) contest. The MacBU is looking for the most "nimble, determined, Mac-wielding businesswoman around to take the crown of Ms. M.o.X.i.e. "Why women? It's a growing trend. We found that according to the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Women's Business Ownership that women are starting businesses at twice the rate of men and we want to recognize these women for their success," Roz Ho, product unit manager for the Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft, told MacCentral.
