| Dudes, I've *actually* used Lindows 2.0, and I can safely say that it is, indeed, crap. It installs just fine, it runs its own stuff fine, but try to install anything and you have problems. If it's click and run (as they call it) then you're 90% ok (some stuff may still fail), but it's no replacement for Windows. Heck, it can't even run Outlook 2000. So what's the point? |

| When you put a price tag (especially $99) on Linux, you eliminate the only reason to use Linux. It makes no sense. With Linux, you have to give it away to get people to use it. Personally, I'm skeptical of any product in any application with that kind of reputation. |
