Lindows, the software start-up offering a consumer-friendly version of the Linux operating system, announced a new version of its software Wednesday. Version 2.0 of Lindows includes enhanced networking features for connecting with Windows-based PCs, support for more than 800 printer models and a streamlined interface similar to the Windows desktop. The new version also has enhanced support for laptop PCs, including power management features and tools for configuring wireless networking cards. | ||

| They aren't a public company, Bob; they don't need to and won't release forecasts and other financial information to the public. Don't know why you have an interest in these concerns when you don't understand them. |

| soda, I presume it was a joke so my reply was a joke as well, but if someone is asking where to find public financials--they obviously don't know what they are looking for or where to go; on top of that, he is expecting this information to be available, no? Which anyone would know, it's not... So if he doesn't understand, what a public/private company reports, how they report it, where to find it, etc... I wouldn't expect any conclusions he draws from whatever information he does find to have any merit whatsoever. Simple enough. |

Actually, I assumed the company was public and didn't feel like looking up the information myself.
Anyway, I don't see how a forecast on profitability is going to be all the different whether private or public. I was looking for a rather simple answer - "Yah, they said they expect to be profitable in fiscal 2004" or something along those lines. I'm sure this is going to be the seed of another attack, so I'll just say now "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." : - ) |
