i just downloaded and installed these drivers. it seems alot more advanced and more streamlined. I will use this 3dmark 2001se and see if my score rises. i only have a geforce ddr though. I am waiting for geforce 5.

| Some of my friends scores have gone up by a 1000 - but then again I don't rate performance on 3D Mark much anymore, just proper games. |

| You know that you were supposed to go to control panel, and remove the Nvidia drivers from there, and then when you reboot, and Windows "Sees" the video card, leave that windows open, then run the exe file you downloaded. It will install the new drivers, and all should work. If not, there are three files you should have deleted from the previous version of Detonator. I don't recall what they were, but I think one of the files was nvqtwk.dll, ... |

I don't experience this problem with my computer (GForce 1 DDR and XP), but have had this happen on another computer with XP and a TNT.
The TNT/TNT2 doesn't support overlays by default under 2k/XP. I've been trying to get this working on the other computer with a reg fix, but it seems to only work under Win 9x. On 2k/XP (with TNT), only the Primary Display Surface mode works. Do you have any extra video codecs installed other than the standard ones (like DVD or TV Tuner)? |
