bob: Perhaps you need someone to help you think for a second.
Microsoft has literally millions upon millions of users.
What percentage of these millions upon millions of users are having real issues?
How much of these issues have anything to do with the OS itself, rather than 3rd party products, such as buggy drivers, other buggy software, etc...
Microsoft simply can not test every piece of software, every driver, every service, etc...
However, Microsoft has done a lot to help prevent such things, like, if you try to install Windows2000 Creative SB Live! Drivers, it actually comes up and says "This software has known issues that causes system instability, and should not be used", or such things as that.
There is also the Windows Online Crash Analysis website, where if it is an actual Windows component that causes the crash, when the system comes back up, it brings you to that website to put in information like what you were doing when this happened, what apps were open, etc... and then will get back to you on weather or not it is a known issue and has been fixed, a new issue that is being looked at, etc...
But I'm sure you are just in here to bash MS, if so, go away, no need for mindless, trolling, drones here.
