Express Installation This installation method, also known as binary patching, requires the least amount of hard disk storage space. The Express installation detects the system components and installs only those updates that are necessary. This method is recommended for customers who want to reduce their download time. The Express installation is the fastest way to install Windows 2000 SP2 on a single computer but it does require a Internet connection during the installation. A Windows 2000 Pro installation via this method can be as low as 10 MB, and Advanced Server at 23 MB. The link we posted on Friday was to the 101 MB full network install. | ||
