Software giant Microsoft Corp and chipmaker Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - news) roll into Vegas this weekend touting new products aimed at extending their dominance of personal computing to gaming and wireless gadgets that connect to the Internet and other appliances. Each year after the year-end holidays, the world's major makers of electronic products such as Sony Corp. (6758.T), Thomson SA (THMP.PA), Philips Electronics (PHG.AS), and hundreds of others gather here for the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to showcase the consumer goods they are making for the next season. | ||
