Since Satya Nadella took the reins from Steve Ballmer at Microsoft last February, the company has made a lot of changes. The biggest change is that Microsoft is no longer the Windows-first company. In the old days, Microsoft employees and watchers often talked about the Windows "strategy tax." Other parts of the company would propose a particular product or feature, only to have it killed by higher-ups because they wanted to reserve that feature for Windows, or were worried that it would somehow hurt Windows sales. | ||
