Steve Ballmer, who sold $1.3 billion of his stake in Microsoft two weeks ago, has divested $84.29 million more in stock, according to a filing today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. After the initial sales -- his first in seven years -- the Microsoft chief executive said he would sell $700 million's worth more by the end of the year. Now he's got $615 million to go if he plans to hit the $2 billion mark, or about 75 million shares. After this recent sale, Ballmer owns about 355.75 million shares worth $9.32 billion. Last week, speculation rose that Ballmer was planning to purchase the Sacramento Kings NBA team, but the franchise's owner denied it.
