Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan is in Redmond today for the Microsoft CEO Summit and to receive an award for her work in human rights and education.
The queen is in the Seattle area because of the annual event for big-name chief executives, Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos said. But at 11:30 a.m., she will speak at a reception for the announcement of her winning the 2010 James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award from The Tech Museum in San Jose, Calif.
