Server virtualization and the products to make it happen get most of the attention in the computer business, for reasons that are currently valid but will erode as hypervisor functionality is gradually built into operating systems, system firmware, or even BIOS. Server virtualization and virtual application support will also eventually merge into the same suite of products, if only to reduce the number of hardware systems that have to be managed and the number of software layers that have to be added to make it happen. | ||
